Green and Root

Green wowed West Coast and National audiences with her critically acclaimed debut CD Multiheaded Heart (1999). On their new CD, Down That Road (2004), Green’s partner Root joins her, adding silky alto harmonies, bringing grace and depth to Green’s honest and insightful songs. This new duo is creating music which literally goes to the “Green and Root” of it.
Eileen Hazel
is a bard of the human soul. Her minstrel spirit and finely crafted songs will take you on a journey from the depths of sorrow to the healing solace of laughter. Her latest CD, Spark, is a shimmering collection of pagan spirituals and songs of love, loss & redemption.
Helen Chaya
Helen Chaya's songs are dreamy and rainy, with sweet little sunbreaks shining through. She explores lonely landscapes, where heart sick drifters find angels at gas stations, and stars appear through ceiling holes. A fan of pretty melodies, her acoustic guitar shimmers with lovely self-taught finger-picking, and unexpected chord changes. She is currently at work on her second CD.

Hurricane Katrina
Our hearts go out to the victims and survivors of Hurricane Katrina, as well as all the other natural disasters that have been happening in this crazy world. We know that people have suffered devastating losses all over the Gulf Coast. Please join us in sending prayers, blessings and practical support to those who are rebuilding their lives.

FolkDiva artists banded together to use our resources to support the survivors of Hurricane Katrina. One way we found of doing this is to donate the sales of our CDs through CD Baby to the Hurricane Relief Fund at the American Red Cross, for most of September and October.

Thanks to CD Baby for coming up with this easy way for independent artists to donate to the relief effort! Note: They've ended this promotion now, but the good news is this effort raised a total of $165,060 from artist sales over the 7 weeks, sent directly to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, plus $40,000 of their own CD Baby money.

Thanks for helping out with both the relief effort and the CD sales of FolkDiva artists!
