Root comes from a music-loving family and grew up singing Irish folk songs.
She has been playing guitar off and on since the 70's, but became truly
inspired after seeing the Indigo Girls rock out in "Live at the Uptown".
When not in the recording studio, you may find her on tour with Green,
providing beautiful harmony vocals and stage-managing.
